Hello to everyone!
"World Forum on High-Quality Development of Chinese Medicine Education (2023)" along with the "8th Meeting of the 3rd Council of the Educational Instruction Committee of WFCMS", "Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine's World Traditional Chinese Medicine Accreditation and the 25th Anniversary of its Establishment", and "2023 10th Canada Acupuncture and TCM Continuing Education Conference" will be held in-person and online in Toronto, Canada from August 24th to 30th, 2023.
The conference is hosted by the Educational Instruction Committee of the WFCMS and Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine; organized by Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Dr. Wu's Head Massage of International Association, International Association of Acupuncture & Moxibustion Manipulation Technique (IAAMMT), and World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies - Inheritance Working Committee; and co-organized by the Specialty Committee of Translation of WFCMS.
The conference is sponsored by the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS), World Federation of Acupuncture and Moxibustion Societies (WFAMS), Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, International Health Qigong Federation, Dr. Wu Naturals Canada Inc., Zhang Jin TCM Acupuncture Clinic, Dr. Benjamin Wu Publishing and Media Ltd, World Chinese Medicine magazine (Chinese/English Canadian Edition) and Qi Huang website along with others.
The congress's main theme is, "Keeping integrity and inheritance, improving quality, innovating, developing and benefiting mankind", and the objective is to "Bring into play the advantages of Chinese medicine, standard the quality of education, and improve the clinical efficacy of TCM". Through the successful convening of the conference, global wisdom is gathered to help the high-quality development of Chinese medicine education in the world.
This year's academic conference coincides with the 25th anniversary of the founding of the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (1998), the 30th anniversary of the release of Dr. Wu's Head Massage Therapy (published in a paper in 1993), the 20th anniversary of the establishment of International Association of Acupuncture & Moxibustion Manipulation Technique (IAAMMT) (2003), and the 10th session of Canada Acupuncture and TCM Continuing Education Conference.
This year's academic conference will bring together heavyweight figures from the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) academic communities around the world. Academician Zhang Boli, “the People's Hero” and a Master of TCM, will steer the presidents and relevant officials from several TCM universities in China, as well as deans and related officials from TCM colleges in various countries overseas, including members of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies' Education Guidance Committee. Experts and scholars from the Translation Professional Committee of WFCMS will also participate in the conference. Additionally, experts and scholars from various provinces in Canada will share their practical experience in TCM Acupuncture accumulated over many years overseas.
This is an unprecedented gathering and feast of high-quality development of TCM education and academic discussion of TCM and Acupuncture.
Here, we would like to express our gratitude to the educators and scholars of TCM who have traveled from afar to attend this conference, as well as to the participants and supporters of the previous nine academic conferences held in 2009, 2011, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 from various provinces of Canada and around the world. Thank you all!
We sincerely invite domestic and overseas Traditional Chinese medicine practitioners, acupuncturists, researchers from various Chinese medicine universities, and leaders of major pharmaceutical companies and medical equipment companies to participate in this conference.
